Question Painting/Gluing Questions for Mojave Body?

I'm about to lay the first coat of Tamiya TS paint on my TF2 Mojave body and have a few noob questions:

When should I glue on the body parts (grill/door handles/rear windshield) in the primer/paint/polish process? I don't want to have any visible excess glue residue...

Should I use Plastruct bondene to join body parts like the door handles, grill, and rear windshield? And do I need little bits of styrene to melt to join them or is applying the bondene directly between the pieces enough?

Or should I use Shoe Goo or Liquid Cement after I paint/clear/polish all pieces?

Last question....when do I apply decals/vinyl stripes? After polishing the clear coat?

Thanks!!
