I have so pretty big holes torn in mine from wiping out and riping the body off with the body pins still on. They make some plastic washers that are made to sit on the body posts. Im just going to glue a set of those on the body to reinforce it that way. Other than that most hobby shops have flat lexan plates for pretty cheap. You could probably glue it on the backside. Dont know how that would look with paint though. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 |

Thanks for the reply. I was more concerned with something like a bondo or body glaze just not sure what will work on old lexan, once again thank you for the reply and info...Doc

Body filler won't work on a lexan rc body. Its just like using the wrong paint, the first time it flexes it will crack off.

Its plastic, find a solvent type cement (like this IPS Weld-On 4 Cement : TAP Plastics) & mix it with powdered lexan to make a paste. You can then tape the hole closed on the underside & fill with solvent/lexan paste. It will cure & bond to the body then sand it smooth. You can then paint the outside of the body & cover your patches. or Associated Vintage RC 10 T Truck 6139 Body | eBay |
