Hood scoop. It would make it look so mean if you did something like a Ram Air scoop. Like in thos mustang. http://www.octanemotorsports.com/ima...0024-A53-1.jpg |

My Clods came with scoops as part of the kit. A Clod just doesn't look right without a scoop.

A clod scaler would look good without a scoop since it is an old chevy body.

Don't know about the new Clod bodies but the old ones (hard body) came with an indentation molded into the hood for the scoop. Big hole in the hood or scoop. Guess you could fill the big hole with bondo.

scoop or not is a personal choice, and what kind of look you are going for. for a typical trail use scale off-roader, i would say no scoop - not something you would generally see in the 1:1 world of trail off-roading. monster trucks, "show" trucks, pullers, even mudders, yeah, much more common to see scoops on those in the 1:1 versions. shape and size of scoop are another personal choice - what one person likes may not be what another likes...and there are gobs of scoop styles out there to choose from! | |

Scaler = No Scoop. Maybe small cowl. Truggy, buggy, monster = Scoop, cowl, blower, etc! |
