| Question about bobing yota bed
Hey guys I'm getting ready to bob my first yota bed. I'm wanting to bob so the rear of the bed will pretty much be flush with the rear frame rails on scx chassis. I'm also wanting to do a dropped bed which will also be my first. I have looked around but haven't come up with anything so my question is does anyone have a seggestions on fender wells? I'm not sure what to do about the shock towers and I don't really want to change to the relocation kit. Any advice, tips, etc on the drop bed and bobbing would be great Thanks |

the rear shock towers are better removed, IMO. they would sit real tall poking up thru the bed... and fitting wheel wells over those... would likely take up more bed space then would be desirable. IMO.. the shock relocation mod is the cheapest/easiest fix... or maybe a cantilever suspension system would be better !? I know Dinky was offering a cantilever kit that consisted of baby Revo cantilever parts (1/16 scale ?). Dinky's production of that... always seems to be out of stock. But it wouldn't be that difficult to replicate using the parts obtained from the wee Revo. |
