My first paint job It's a Ford raptor body for my Slash. I know it's not a crawler but this was my practice run as my next is for my scx10.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...b14c91e934.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...0b296f8e30.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...87ccaec6b1.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...c0a84f84ff.jpg Any tips or comments would be a great help. Re: My first paint job From the pics, looks like it turned out pretty good.. |
Re: My first paint job Thanks, I'm really happy with the result I just wished I would have picked a different green. It doesn't really stand out from the black. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk |

Re: My first paint job I backed it with black and I think that's my problem, I didn't think it would be that dark. I also put on a light coat of flex seal. I was thinking it will add to the durability. Let's see how it holds up. Lol Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk |
Re: My first paint job Its definitely a learning process. I get better with every body I cut & paint. You should keep the Lexan scraps & use them to test paint colors & combinations before doing the body. I've saved myself a couple of times doing that. ;-) |
