Ascender Cage Has anyone here mounted an Ascender cage or even a honcho cage to the back of the Proline 66 C10 body? If so would you mind posting up a couple pics please.. |
Re: Ascender Cage You mean like this 66 c-10 cab made for the honcho? https://www.amainhobbies.com/proline...oaAr1kEALw_wcB |
Re: Ascender Cage Yes... just wondering if anyone has mounted the ascender cage to it... |
Re: Ascender Cage Check out this thread for the previous discussion on the '66 Ford, which Proline basically made as the companion vehicle - measurements are very close: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/vater...s-66-f100.html (Late edit) I believe the main issue is that the Ascender cage is wide and low compared to the SCX10 Honcho cage... making the roofline of the Proline cabs notably higher than the top of the cage from the Ascender. Bummer, really... Us Ascender guys want more options! 'Course, you could always perform the old hotrodders trick of "channeling" the body, which I think may work wonders on that new '46 Dodge Power Wagon... I'm currently reluctant to drop $55+ to find out it doesn't work, after hacking it up! |
Re: Ascender Cage http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/sale/...trx-4-rtr.html Found this in the for sale section but the body/cage you were looking for. |
