| Help: Cutting an RC4WD Blazer
Apologies in advance, I'm sure this has been discussed several times but my search function isn't working right now. I want to cut my Blazer in half and add a second row of doors to make a Suburban. I've already found a 3D file to add the new doors between the two halves. I was wondering if anyone makes a 3D printed jig to help make a straight cut? (I've seen them for other pick-up bodies) Any advice for making a jig or the straight cuts w\o a jig would be appreciated as well. I would prefer a reusable jig as I plan to buy and cut more Blazer bodies in the future. Sent from my LM-V600 using Tapatalk |

Use fishing string (braided) to cut, blue painters tape for your lines. Flush cut saw works too+ straight cuts. Slow and steady wins the race.

I read elsewhere on here "braided fishing line". I'm just afraid of making a sloppy cut. Is the thread/fishing line really that accurate? Assuming you keep it tight? Sent from my LM-V600 using Tapatalk Last edited by smc-93; 05-18-2021 at 07:37 PM. | |
