Default hard body prep work?

so i was searching around a little bit trying to find some info on how to smooth out a hard body but i bever really found the answer i was looking for. heres my problem. my body is a bruiser cab which i got from ebay, it is in very rough shape. there are alot of scuffs and deep scratches. my question is, what do you guys suggest be the best way to smooth down as much of it as i can. would it be best if i just put a light film of bondo over the certain areas and then sand it? any help appreciated. thanks

you are correct sir. that works great and then some filler primer on the rest of the truck and a light scuff, and youre done. theres alot more to it but you get the idea. hobby bondo i have used shrinks a tiny bit as it dries.
