Default Crawlapalooza 2008 Pictures

Just a few for starters. Don't worry, there will be plenty more to come.

Wish I could have made it, but too much travelling for me lately. Looks like there was an awesome crowd!

The rocks are so killer there.

Thanks. I'm using a Sony Alpha DSLR-300k with the 18-70mm lens it came with. I got it for the live preview feature and fold up/down screen. It makes it really easy to get shots at ground level with the crawlers (without laying down on the rocks to look through the viewfinder).

This was it's first outing, so I still have a lot to learn and only about 3000 photos to sort through .

Some Super class pictures....

there's some very impressive photos there man! i took 1100 in one day at nationals so i kinda know how you feel. my nikon does 3 shots per second with a nice SDHC card in it so naturally i end up with a lot of pics. a lot of times it fires off a second shot before i get a chance to take my finger off the shutter release.

Great pics that sure is some interesting rock it looks like sediment from an ancient ocean bottom. Looks like it might have some awesome traction.
