Tech & check in from 7:00 – 7:30 a.m. Drivers meeting at 7:30 a.m. @ Hogan’s Off-road Judges meeting at 7:45 a.m. Competition starts at 8:30 a.m. Judges break at 12:00. Courses re-open at 12:30. Once all entrants complete, the judges will then run. Finals course. Super awards handed out. Sign up for CRAWLAPALOOZA will open Monday, Sept. 15th, 2008. Time to be determined later. Entry fee will be $35. T-shirts will be provided to the entrants. 2.2 class will be limited to the first 60 competitors. We need to limit the class due to the change of time so we can present awards in the daylight and we just want to screw around after the comp. Super class will be limited to 30 competitors, but we feel this will not be met. Courses will be set up by OKRCRC. Judging will be done by OKRCRC, except for when the judges run the courses. We will be judged by volunteers. NOTE: NONE OF THE COURSES SETUP HAVE BEEN OR WILL BE RUN BY ANY MEMBER OF THE OKRCRC CLUB. We will follow the USRCCA rules with the following changes. -We will NOT be using the 20 points max per gate, then the bypass rule. Run the course until time expires or you point out. -Point out will be 60 points. -We will only allow 1 off course repair per course per driver. During the finals course, there will be no off course repairs allowed. Any repairs made during the finals will be done with the clock running. -Rigs must be lined up at the starting line, when the person in front of you is running the course you should be getting your rig ready. If the judge is ready for you to start and you are not ready he will give you a 1 minute call, if you cannot start the course in that time you will take a 70 for that course and the judge will move onto the next person in line. -Tie scores will be broken by course 3, then 2, then 1. -Superclass rigs must have a minimum 14" wheelbase, and the smallest diameter wheel you can run is 2.9", this is measured where the rubber of the tire meets the face of the wheel, this measurement is the same as the wheels on a stock clodbuster. CRAWLAPALOOZA MIDWEST CHAMPIONSHIP ’08, will run the "free crawl" format. We will have 3 courses setup and running all day. You can feel free to line up at any course you want and you can run the courses in any order you want to. To make this format work you need to make sure your rig is always in one of the lines and ready to run. First thing in the morning there should be about 20 people at each course. We will be shutting down all of the courses in the middle of the day to give our judges a break, at that time you should leave your rig in line ready to go. Each driver will be given their scorecard during tech check in. YOU will be responsible for making sure you have that card with you on comp day and YOU will be responsible for making sure it gets turned in at the end of the day. If you do not turn your card in at the end of the day you will receive all 70's on the score sheet. You can expect courses with 8-10 progress gates, multiple out of bounds markers, and 5 minute time limits. Last edited by bbyrd22; 09-11-2008 at 06:54 PM. |

Just a quick question. If a person does not make it into 2.2 does he still need to be there Sat. morning to sign up or can that person show up later in the day or sun. morning for super ? Also is it $35.00 a class or 35 for both? |

| That sounds great. Especially when You have 2 people to try to get in and pay for. But were I go Tyler is going to be with me even if I have to sell something. The price you pay when you have a little future champ in training. |
