Here is the event you have all been waiting for. After working long and hard we have finally pulled everything together to pull off a huge event at the famous Red Rocks in Colorado.

This event will be held July 18-19 in beautiful Morrison, Colorado. This spot has some of the best terrain Colorado has to offer, you do not want to miss out on this competition.

Morrison, Colorado is in the foothills just at the base of the Rocky Mountains. It is located 40 miles from Denver International Airport, just on the west side of the City of Denver.

At this competition on Saturday we will be running the 2.2 competition class, this class will be limited to the first 80 registered drivers.

We have special rules in place for the Colorado guys in the 2.2 class, only the top 5 in the standings from the Crawlerado club, and the top 5 in the standings from the GrandJunction club can enter the competition for the first week of registration. If after the first week of registration there are still spots left then any Colorado drivers can enter.

This event will give out the FINAL invite for the 2009 Nationals, this is your last chance to get in, as there will be no buys in's this year. We will also write a check for $500 to the person that gets the invite to help them cover their travel expenses to the nats.

On Sunday we will be running the super class, Colorado has plenty of terrain to keep the supers challenged don't be scared and leave yours at home!

Sunday we will also be trying something fun and running a 2.2 unlimited class. The only rules in this class are that it can have no longer than a 12.5" wheelbase and you can only have 4 wheels/tires. Anything else goes. This class will be running the normal 2.2 class 16" wide gates. Let's see how creative you can be and what you can come up with for this class!

Registration will begin at 5pm mountain time on Tuesday May 12th, 2009 be ready the spots will go quick.

I will post another thread with travel and hotel info soon.

No, and thank you.

I think I will probably stay at the host hotel as well, just so I can be where the party is and I don't have to drive home at night.
