It was a success in my book. Wish I could have repeated a solid performance last year, but still did well. It was very fun to have the varying rock and of course the natural courses too. I'd say it was better than last year. Good job KCRC team, Ricky and family, and everyone who helped. The judges were great all day. Even those who stepped up to help were very good. I want to thank Mayhem for the prize. Finally huge tanks to bigflex for the 8711 gears. I knew that little plastic one was gonna go eventually. Luckily it did it at the very end of a course... |

I want to thank everyone who came out . I really enjoied seeing everyone and watching everyone crawl. NWARC had fun building the courses and Fish's panel were easy to put up. I'm just glad the MIDWEST CHALLENGE ran an other year. This comp has a place in my heart, the 1st Midwest comp was my 1st comp. I got 7th. I have watched it grow and have been to all 4 of them. If you would have asked me the 1st comp ,if I'd be apart of building the 4th comp. I would have said you were crazy. I hope the KCRC guys make it happen in KC next year. I'll be there. |

I had a great time. 3rd Indoor challenge I've been to, and they keep getting better every year. Ricky, you and your guys really did a terrific job with the courses. The natural rock courses were amazing! Seriously, you raised the bar for indoor comps. Hurley was great for the 5 minutes that he wasn't passed out. Jerry did a great job as announcer, as always. I'd also like to thank the judges for doing such a great job. I know some of the judges weren't used to judging large events, but you guys stepped up and kicked ass. Thanks to you, us marshals didn't have to do very much. The whole event went off without a hitch. It was one of the best executed comps I've been to. Thanks to everyone for their hard work. |
