801RC. Let me shed some light on one of the most talented group of r/c crawlers in the country and for starters, I was asked if I tell everyone how "cool" the 801RC gang is and my reply was simple; no, I tell whoever asks that 801RC is FAMILY! T-Money, Special Ed, Mac10, Chewy, the Tuna Club, and everyone that wears the 801RC colors are out right amazing at hosting r/c crawling events. I can't thank everyone enough for all the hard work and planning and making sure that everyone had a great comp experience. The courses at St. George for the Utah State Championships were nothing short of perfect. Sick, Sick, Sick, lines. Mentally draining and talent sucking gates that pushed driver and rig to their limits and I can't wait to go back. Great job course designers! I met some great people over the weekend and got to share comp time with teammates, friends, and an ever growing comp family. And who could forget the Swedes, Switz, ah hell, they came from across the pond to put rubber to rock and that they did. Not only did they make their little trucks "do work", but they were the best dressed on the red rock. Thanks guys and I don't know what I said in Swiss, but I'm sure it wasn't "hi". A special THANKS to my sponsors; your support is appreciated and all your products make me look good on the rocks. We all know I don't dress as well as the Swiss. I can't tell you how much fun the road trip was with Sococrawler and Sococrawlgirl and Chasinbaja and unibomber. We Geocached, watched a drone do touch and goes, and invaded the little alieinn on the ET highway. I believe everyone saw a one-eyed aliean, except me. I always miss the good stuff, Capt. Axial, one-eyed alieans, and C-5; G-8. Thank you again 801RC. I can't wait to see ya'll again for the Shamrock Showdown. -Parker |
