Default new to pti goliath

hi my mom just surprised me with a Pti Goliath:-P i have an axial wk and a clod but i liked the Goliath so i was wondering if i can use a 6 cell stick pack and run a rooster with 55t motor or would i just rip it apart?i wont really run hard i just wanted this car to mess around with in my house when it rains

you'll prolly want some gear reduction with that 55, its a bit fast without one.

if you dont want a GRU I would run a 70+...maybe a 100t

gear reduction unit...I have been running a GD600 airplane unit for years, PTI and RC4wd both sell nice units

i use the one RC4WD sells i use the 4:1 ratio with a 55t..... super stout and got a nice crawl speed

OH and i wanted to ask, what are you concerned about with the strength of the axles?? i havent had any problems, and have seen people use them with great success.....

yea would it be the same if i got a 100t motor rather than changing the gears? i finilly got it on the rocks today works good but need more tourqe
