RC Rally Legends

I was looking on there UK site and decide this needs its own thread.

First up check out the Lanica 037

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...t/037_Miki.jpg

They also have the Lancia Delta 4wd Evo 2, Delta Integrale, Delta S4, Fiat 131, 3 models of Lanica Stratos and a brand new one. The Iveco Trakker.

Most of the cars currently have a ball differential, but look at the new gear differential that is going into the cars soon.

Here is the American site:
Cars

Even better though look at the UK site:
Elenco modelli

Really cool looking cars with similar construction to the Tamiya TB-01. Tons of scale goodies tucked into these cars that in my eyes makes them pretty fantastic.

I hate to say it but they look like all the cheap chinese TC3 style knock offs without a center flex plate. Not that thats really all that bad to be honest.

Bodies are sick, I like ball diffs though, easier to externally tune, though depends on the quality it is.

Would Turtle gave us a review?

I'd rock that Fiat in a heartbeat. "thumbsup"

Might be worth trying one of these, although I doubt they are as reliable as the 4Tec.

I can't at this time, but there will be one in the up coming RCDriver. I did say in another thread that they look amazing and have some pretty fun driving characteristics.

Wow! It actually looks identical to that car. These even come with a 23 turn motor. At least the bodies are fantastic as is the lighting kit.

Great find Turtle! I love the Trakker body. I've always liked the big Dakar racing trucks. I'm interested to see the RC Driver article.

You can too buddy. Rodney and I were talking about running a stock rally class using the Rally legends car. 350.00 for a car, charger, really nice 3 channel 15 model memory transmitter and 6 cell 3000mah with tons of lights (4 head lights, 2 tail lights, 2 reverse lights, 2 brake lights and 4 turn signal lights) is still a pretty darn good deal. Plus the after market support looks pretty darn good.

Shouldn't this be moved to the Rally Section?

I didn't know there was a rally section? ... I guess it just goes to show... persistance pays off.

Soulo747 07-20-2012 08:13 PM

Theres a review if the fiat in the current RC car action. But those guys don't ever give an honest or bad review. So obviously take that for what it's worth.

The tires are pretty kick ass looking, and at $20 for 4 that's very good. For those that are looking for the Audi Quattro coupe body they are made by Carson "Tamiya" and can be had for about $60 with stickers. I picked up a couple while I was in Germany myself, but they do ship here. Also got me a few of the new schirocco bodies, they should make a cool rally body too.

On a side note tamiya came out with the older Toyota celica rally body again

Oh really?! That is fantastic. I will have to save my pennies to pick some up. Tamiya also has the old Ford Escort WRC body available again, though it is only currently sold with the TT01 platform.
