New from Horizon Hobby. Looks like both share the same platform and are labeled as 14th scale.

At 210WB, it's basically direct direct competiiton to the Traxxas 1/16 rally and that Atomic thing, isn't it? Nice that it comes with decent looking tyres and a driver figure (and a decent looking body!

The Atomik is smaller then the Traxxas. Not a ton though.

It does look pretty good though, I'm actually a fan of the body and the motor pushed toward the front of the chassis. It looks to be a pretty solid platform. I don't know a lot about these cars yet though, so Ricky I won't have any info. on if it is a good starter platform for a little bit.

From what I can tell it sounds like some of the Losi guys are at the very least partially responsible for this, so it is not too surprising it looks good.

I did just notice something though... They stole my race number and paint scheme.

Should I be flattered? :ror:

Looks to be based off the Losi Mini 8. I had that car and loved it.

I think it is a Mini 8 base, but has fixed links, shorter shocks (maybe), I see the top plate has a gear cover. Overall looks promising.

I saw somewhere else someone made this same comment and it was reported back that this chassis is slightly longer.

Caught my eye yesterday as well, along with the Twin Hammers.
I like it and give them kuddos for thought! - well some.......

You have to wonder what Horizon was thinking though:
If they follow rally - Lots of guys waterproof there stuff, so lets do that, CHECK! A lot of guys by Spektrum, so lets do that, CHECK! Most step up to brushless, so lets do that, CHECK! Lots of talk about tires, so lets put something prob decent to start with, CHECK!

Most run 1:10, so lets be different and go 1:14??
The 180mm width is decent. Could prob go with some +5 wheels and get 190mm, but the 210mm WB?

A decent 380 brushless is prob fine for my lack of talent and my kids chasing on a trail.

i think its in market with the traxxas mini rally , i like the lcg chassis, the traxxas rallys are a bitch to set up for our rallycross carpet racing.

in our group we all ordered them . i think we're up to 7 rally cars.. 2 desert racers.. its going to be fun racing these around the oval track converted to rally course

That Kemora looks great. I plan on getting one and putting a Focus or Tornado body on it. We used to have an under 10 scale class here, wonder if we'll bring it back as a mini rally class;)
