XV-01 Motor/Esc recommendations
 

Hi folks, so I'm after some advice i managed to pick up a very little used XV-01 Pro roller on ebay for a steal and wondered what a good motor/esc set up for a XV-01 would be, I'd like it to be quick but not so quick it's to much, I have a Ezrun 13t/3000kv combo sitting around and a Hpi Flux Vapor esc and flux vector 4800 kv motor spare would either of those be to the job or should I try and source something else?

You'll be fine with either one.
I run a Castle Sidewinder and a Castle 3800 combo in my XV-01 and it's just fine on 2s.
I also run a sensored 13.5t brushless systems in my Rally Legends cars, which works perfect in those things.
The XV-01 suspension soaks things up nice when you start grabbing the throttle.
