What do you guys think of the Basher BSR 1:8 rally?

Basher BSR Rally 1/8 Scale 4WD Rally Car (Ready-To-Run) (US Warehouse)

It looks pretty sweet to me. Anyone here planning on getting one?

like with anything you get.. can you get parts? Spur gears? diff gears? dog bones? etc etc...
probably not as fast as you'd like.
these are basically buggy chassis's with a rally body plopped on top..

I think the HPI WR8 is a vorza chassis falls under same category as above.. they are excellent bashers. and they do great on SCT tracks.
I had a Traxxas rally 4x4 that would dominate our track.. (after killing off the bearings left and right) but it didnt have a spot..

The chassis is based off the OFNA GT-V2e http://www.ofna.com/gtv2e.php so parts should be rather easy to get. There are controls arms, spur gears, drive cups, diffs, and suspension components all over eBay and other online stores that will fit the chassis.

I think comparing it to the WR8 is really not not the same. It is more in the Kyoshe DRX realm if you ask me. The Basher Rally has a 330mm wheels base similar to the DRX's 315mm. The WR8 is right at 300mm and it is actually based off the bullet (The vorza is true 1:8 scale w/325mm wheelbase).

I'm tempted to get one of these or a similar 1:8 scale. I really like the size and speed of them!
