...I was all set to go up until I reversed the polarity on my transmitter battery. Got that funky burning plastic smell with a hissing noise So now I am $250 in the hole and I havent even left yet Just goes to show, dont rush electronics installs I think I'll glue that toasted spektrum unit right in front of the soldering iron stand so I'll see it every time I plug it in |

Did you decide to just order new axles? If you want a new dogbone, let me know since I've got some. After that grinding yesterday, it wouldn't suprised me if that's what made it break. | |

Someone should try some of the waterproof spray on sunblock. I was going to do it yesterday, but we were running through sand and it would have gummed up a lot. That stuff is really really sticky though.

I always light mine, then do the Mesquite thing. Works wonders, AND tastes like chicken |

I'm getting a little nervous everyday that counts down,My buddy was like "Dude you need to get some R/D time on that rig before you leave"We had our last comp this Sunday and I broke for the 4th time this month.I snapped the axle spline.I'm refurbishing the tranny I got in a trade just to make sure nothing is on the point of breaking. |

I just drove the 2.2 for the first time yesterday. The super is a roller but needs a body and electronics. I still need to order some spare parts like TLT shafts, knuckles, and at least one servo. I don't think there is any chance of getting the scale truck done for Sunday. I've been working on crawlers every night after work for the past 3 weeks unitl 1 or 2 am and as much as I can on the weekends and somehow I need some time to do testing and tuning. I feel your pain. |
