Default 2007 Nationals Info

OK guys at long last I can finally release some info on the Nationals.

The 2007 Nationals will be held once again in the rockcrawling capital of the world, Moab, UT. They will be held the same weekend that this large event has been held for the past 3 years. September 8th and 9th.

The main competition will be held Saturday the 8th, extending over to Sunday the 9th. Exact itineraries will be published as we get closer to the event date, but plan on being there all day both of those dates. Monday September 10th we will be doing a 1:1 trail ride on the world famous Hell's Revenge trail, this trail run will be limited to 45 vehicles, so you may have to carpool. You can sign up for the trailride when you get your invite, but please remember only 45 spots are available so only sign up if you are going to drive. We'll be stopping along the way on the trail to run the rc rigs as well. I am currently working with one of the large Jeep rental companies in Moab on getting us a group rate. I should here back from them in the next day or so. If you plan on renting a Jeep post in here so I can kinda figure out how many there will be.

We have worked a deal with Accommodations Unlimited on condo rentals. These condos will sleep 6-8 people so once you split the costs down they really are a pretty cheap option. Normally the condos run $230-$250 per night, but if you stay 5 nights they will give us the group rate of $190-$200 per night depending on what condo you get. To get this deal you need to call Kami at 1-866-937-6622 let her know you are with Jason Hensel to get the group rate. We'll be getting into town on thursday night and leaving tuesday morning. She is also going to try to get us all condos close together. You can check out the condos at www.moabcondorentals.com we'll be staying at the rim village condos.

Hope to see you in Moab!

This trail is a 4+ trail. I'd suggest 32's and a rear locker at a minimum.

I'm down for renting a jeep. My brother will be riding shotgun, but if anyone wants a back seat let me know.
