Did the tube shave for jps servo mount and the ripper steering, you can see in the pics i went a little to much at one end ,also found the servo wire was a tight squeeze ,hmm what next |

I like the bully's they are tough, the only problem I had was with the links rubbing on the cases, although I'm using the bjv4 chassis, good luck with your build |

I see in the last photo how close your servo is to the link mount, is it really that close or is that just the way the pic was took?

| servo and link mount The body of servo is has about 2mm clearance its the servo wire and rubber grommet what its a little squished in place ,think ill take a little more of the gear case side of tube so i can slide servo over a little more ,looks like i can gain 1mm.

| Build Update
Got some more building done, had to think a bit on link placement to have no binding( looked at lots of pics ),made up some spacers to help out there. the servo horn i have looks a little long to me ? what measurements from servo spline to hole are you guys using ? also used the longer revos on rear end lower links so the uppers didnt bind on gearbox ,seemed to work. heres some pics |

| cab is on
made some white delrin spacers for cab,now to make an electronics tray, steering is crap with my wheels so i may have to grab some wheel wideners from rc4wd or maybe some new wheels with better offset?

| electronics tray
Found some delrin material on a job site which i used to make the tray, used a jigsaw/ dremil/ and file to shape (just copied papabash,s tray shape)so now to get some screws to fix it in then i guess its onto wiring the bugger up ,Damn glad i didn't get a rtr bully as this is a lot more fun and rewarding ,building your own is so the way to go.

Very nice and clean build But I have 2 ?? Why are the upper front links mounted outside? i would think it will become problematic specially on a bodyless rig. What kind of tires are those? They look kinda hard like they are for scale or something! I would look for Rovers or Boss claws ! |

My guess on the links being mounted outside is to clear the battery mount. There's not much room between the links when mounted inside. Mine are on the outside, and haven't caused an issue there yet.

| build update
Made some new spacers with this little tube cutter i picked up at bunnings (hardware store)as the first ones i did were not even ,causing parts not to sit flat when bolts were done up,all good now great little tool,Also started wiring motors and installing punkdig and esc,Its a bit of a headache with the space that all electronics has to go in but im getting there, may even get up and running this weekend |
