Default Pinion?

Has any body ever blew a pinion gear? I was out crawling and blew one today. Anyone evr blow one?

Blown pinion???!!! I can't say I have ever heard that one. The stock RC4WD pinions are pretty beefy. Was yours stock or some other brand?

-What do you mean by blown....stripped?
-I don't remember anyone using a non-stock pinion that wasn't noisy.

Hopefully you didn't tear anything up, other than the pinion.

I"ve rounded a few 13T pinions and a 12T, but that's just due to my driving style I'm sure. I actually think the 13T's are somehow different but I can't prove it.
I haven't shreaded anything else other than those.

YA i have the stock ones,12t,i think its cuz u run 4s and jph 41t and i havnt opend it up to see if anything else messed up.

I stripped a silver rc4wd pinion...but never had any issues with the black hardened pinions...I think the silver ones are not hardened?

Ya i think there the silver ones then,and prob another thing it isnt so light either.

Some days before i stripped the front pinion.I use two 12T stock pinions with tekin 55t motors.What pinion would you suggest me?
