| I keep tryin to pick up a set of bullys to do a build but no one seems to want to part with them...unless they are the heavy ones...I just prefer the lighter aluminum ones...

saw a berg version of this chassis in action today(mac10's berg)....it's SICK!! love the low slung chassis but this one still keeps really good ground clearance!! nicely done guys! cant wait to see some bully's linked up to it! "Demon Bully!!" I like the sound of that... |

This looks like it would be a cool chassis. But I will need to see it with a set of Bullys on it. If you need some one to set one up. I am your man |

just out of curiosity, is the bully axle that much different than a berg? I have always assumed that you could almost swap axles and have zero issues whatsoever. other than maybe upper link lengths? is there that much of a difference? |

Yes there is quite a difference. I used to not think that there could be that much. But it does make a major difference in how wide the gear case is on the Bully. I still like them, but they are a lot harder to set up on a chassis compared to the Bergs.

Marc it's gonna be a tight fit on that narrow of a chassis and bully axles..even with the lower links outboarded...let me know when you want me to try my spare axles on this chassis..my main concern right now would be upper link's and lower outboarded links...I usually have to bend my uppers to get them to clear things how I like and it seems from looking at your berg version that the bully version will need bent uppers to clear everything... | |

I was just rechecking the specs on this chassis..it is the same width as my current chassis and my lowers clear the gearboxes just fine...at this point my main concern on a bully set-up would be just the upper links...clearing the axles and clearing the shock cross brace is really gonna be the only concern....you could even cut the skid and run the lowers inboard and still get bully axle in there if you wanted! |

Just wondering, when would one actually prefer the heavy ones? I think I have an idea why, but am not quite sure. I assume it would make the truck feel more "planted"...what are the trade-offs?

It really depends on your terrain! You'll find some clubs run really heavy and others run really light. Typically if your running alot of GC you'll need more weight to keep the rig from tipping. But when your COG is pretty low you can run pretty light. In Utah we run low and light. This chassis was designed to have as low of COG but with maximum GC so we are running them pretty light. |

Have no fear... The DEMON is almost here!!!!!! We've made our changes and feel the demon is now at it's full potential!!! If your looking to pick up just the chassis kit, we hope to be able to serve your needs early next week!!! If your looking for chaotic links for it, you will have to wait a little longer! Watch for the release within the next week!!! |

I think i see a prob for us bully guys , i find the bully axles like a wider chasis the just dont bolt up well u have the space everything out on to me it make a weak point . I would like to see someone come out with a chasis thats 2 1/2 wide an was built for the bully not the berg. Seems everone builds one for the breg an we have to try to adapt to it
