Since this rig isn't dedicated to hardcore crawler guys but this is for ''the person that wants to get into comp crawling... and really will only need to upgrade as he gets better...'' or just leave it this way, bone stock... So i wanted to run this rtr crawler completly stock, straight out of the box... Only things i did was relocate the motors wire on the upper links and vented the tires... NOTHING ELSE WAS DONE...! So this is my first video of the bully2rtr stock: https://youtu.be/8ZwFlN-lQ5s Last edited by noname0383; 07-18-2016 at 08:13 PM. |

I watched the video earlier today, rig looked good on the rocks. Rig seemed to be a little jerky (drag brake and throttle?) and springy (shocks). Nothing that can't be turned out.... Maybe it was just me..

As for the shocks, they are quite smooth but have no oil out of the box... A springs kit is included for better tuning and yes I recommend some 30wt-40wt shocks oil for a start... Envoyé de mon LG3 avec Tapatalk Last edited by noname0383; 07-19-2016 at 05:48 AM. | |

It's great to see the platform is a solid foundation to build the Comp Crawling hobby for new MOA drivers.

Yes it's the best way for new moa enthusiasts to get in the game... The bully2 rtr is a "grand public" version, that intended to introduce those who have never dared to build a comp crawler, by fear of the unknown, lack of budget or knowledge, etc... Those who want a rig with which they will be able to have fun immediately but also knowing they have a solid base, easily upgradable without having to replace everything or sell outright their rig to purchase a more capable one... The biggest ''issues'' on this rig are setup issues and won't cost a penny to do but will improve greatly the handling and performances of the Bully2 rtr! As you could see in the video, bully2rtr rolls out of the box, just plug a lipo and GO !!! It's an easy way to have fun and have a good rig and discover all the pleasure of running a comp crawler without all the head-cracking that often comes with such high-level rigs ... Obviously, not everything is perfect ... It would be too good, too easy and too expensive Part of the fun of comp crawler comes from tuning ... On this point, absolutely nothing major, just enough to have fun ... And above all, nothing expensive! So basicaly, RC4WD did an awesome job with this rtr rig... Setting up the bully 2 will be simple enough, soon as some of the team drivers get a few packs in these killer rigs.. A few videos would go a long way. A initial inspection/pre- run video, shock tuning video, electronic clean-up/relocation and battery choice video, quick maintenance after run video, video explaining Upgrades. I think would help newbies out greatly. I probably will never own one of these rigs (because i already own a berg). However I'm excited to see how well guys do with this new rig... I'm 6 months into scale crawling and came around at a great time as I got my hands on a scx10 2 and now will be getting this delivered from tower hobbies soon and I'm excited to have options. Looking up the cost to build one from scratch was out of my league at the moment but getting this and gradually making changes as I learn and go is a great starting point. Anyways I'm new to the scene and it excited me so hopefully it does the same for others! Thanks for the vid! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk |

A bit of tunning done: - Moved the rear shocks to the bottom hole on the axle mounts - Traxxas Jato longer rod ends on the rear uppers links on both ends to clock the axle - Softer springs in 4 shocks - Shocks oil: 30wt front, 50wt rear - Moved the shocks location at the chassis for the front shocks - Knuckles weight installed - Wider VP hub installed front ... |

Did you have to put a wider hub cause the wheel weight I was hoping stock hubs would clear rc4wd wheel weights Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Only put wider hub for a bit more stability on side hilling, etc... Didn't try but almost sure the stock hub will clear knuckle weight with no problem... ;) Envoyé de mon LG3 avec Tapatalk |
