| Super Dooper Bully axles.
So I started replacing some very old but lighty used Raptor axles. To get the same width I dought 2 sets of the super bully axles and used the short sides to build the front axles. I will be ordering 2 set of the rear light weight bully axles and use the long tubes and shafts to get the rear MOA axles to the width that I need to make my scale 1/6 Gladiator Jeep working and turning better. It's kinda spendy doing it this way but how many scalers have you seen with MOA axles under it? I Finished the front end today. I will be ordering the parts for the rearend in a few days. Yesterday I installed Crawler Innovations Deuces wild 2.2 tall foams to handle the weight that this large build has. Last edited by twissted; 09-23-2015 at 04:16 PM. Reason: spelling |

To give you a idea of just how big this is here are some pictures of a JK next to the Gladiator that I took 3'' or so out of the bed on this build. http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps3b04edb5.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps341ef8fe.jpg |

This is why I had to install CI single stage closed cell foam in the tires. It has a full interior! http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...pseec72383.jpg You can see the Raptor axles in this shot also. |

| Re: Super Dooper Bully axles. 2 sets of these so that I can use the long sides to gete the rear end the right width. The axles are the Heavy Duty V6 pieces that are shown below. 2 sets of these also. It looks like I got the last 2 sets! This setup should hold up well. I hope the performance is good. I took a back seat to keeping it scale to gain it. Last edited by twissted; 09-28-2015 at 09:08 PM. |

Wow building the rear diff was a pain in my back side! But it is a one of a kind axle and works very well as far as I can tell. Looking at the shock mounts was the easy part the center mount wasnt to bad. I stole it from the Raptor axles. I will be doing it to the front also. It is stronger and is center of the diff for the most part. The hard part was getting the stort side of the Axle to convert to a long. But I got it and now it is as custom as the truck that it's under. |
