Default New bully II wheels question

Hey Foaks ;)

Is it a good idea to vent the delrin wheel for the bully tires ?
i was thinking of making a 3/32" hole in each rim. Is it a good size/idea ?

i cant seem to find any info looking around the forum. Seems like some people vent the tires instead of the rims,
which i cant see the reason why. Venting the inner rim sounds like a better idea to me...

im going to be assembling my new kit after work today

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Vent the tires so if water gets inside the foam it can be spun out, keeping your foams in good shape. Small holes 90* apart work well

Vent the tires, especially if you change to Crawler Innovations two stage foams. I've never ripped a tire at the vent holes in all my years of crawling. A leather punch works perfect for putting any size hole you want.

Venting the tires is the way to go should any water get in. Venting the wheels only lets out trapped air move out of the wheel but makes it almost impossible to let water escape

As cboggs stated I have never damaged tire vented in the tread or side wall

Im thinking of ordering today some Dlux knuckles Brass/Aluminum combo. Anyone ever try these on the bully 2 ?

Im trying to find a picture of a bully2 with dlux knuckles.

Just to be sure its a good fit.

Also, should i clock my front c-hubs a bit toward the rear ? what is the advantage of doing this ?

Can i use Micro Deans for batt plug ? Regular deans seems a bit big...

Ill post some pics as soon as my holmes hobbies order comes in

Are the knuckles solid brass? Can you add/remove weights to the dlux knuckles?

Go to Eric's site, dlux fab

The knuckles are brass or aluminum with brass, alum , or cf top and bottoms. You can add rings or more weight, I found the brass and rings give me plenty of weight
