TF2 or D90 G2

Been looking to add a Hardbodied rig back to my collection,

Looking at linked rig and adjustable for a 11 1/2 inch wheelbase.
Thinking of going with D90 G2 as its already linked. I also like the look of that kit too. but also found a cool body on ebay. that i would like to try using
im still wondering since the chassis's are very similar to a TF2 which i would have to convert to linked setup which would be better suited for linked setup is it worth getting the extra to make a TF2 linked over just getting a D90 G2 kit and then adjusting links to match wheelbase? of the body.

Hopefully i wrote this in the correct area.
