| Fabrication Tabs
The tabs that we use for the body mounts on the Hustler are now available to buy in 10-packs in threaded and drilled varieties. Should cut down on some time it takes to make small mounts like these. Drilled 10pcs. $4.99 http://www.rcpcrawlers.com/product.p...8&cat=6&page=1 Threaded 10pcs. $7.50 http://www.rcpcrawlers.com/product.p...7&cat=6&page=1 |

Could you use those as shock mounts on a tuber?

| On the website, it says 3mm. I would say yes. I've brazed similar tabs on frames and never had problems with them breaking off. They can get bent if not protected enough by surrounding tubing though. I actually have a question ! I'm curious how they're coated? I'd like to order some to braze on my frames for panel mounts, but only if the coating is easy to remove. |

The next batch will be bare metal. A few seconds on a grinder and these will still work. | |

Just drop those tabs in some paint stripper from the hardware store, and it will take that powder coating right off, just wear rubber gloves, that paint stripper is nasty. Great idea on those tabs. |
