welcome to the under dog side of the crawler world lol. the rs10's are alot of fun and no matter what anyone says they are verry competitive to any other crawler. and what ever you do dont listen to camobob he made his rs10 out of venetian blinds lol j/k hes a pretty knowledgeable guy and very innovative. if you want to dump some money or know about some of the mods out for the rs10 check out my thread "mongoose rs10 build" or feel free to pm me any time and dont be afraid to post a thread theres alot of smart guys in here that know alot about these things and where to get things at a good price.

Welcome to the group. I know nothing but have lots of opinions and those are free. When you're ready for some hop-up parts I know a place that "CLEARLY" makes the best skid plates. Sorry for the pun. www.zno-rc.com |

a glass skid plate seems like it would be a major weak link expecialy if you drive it off a 30 foot cliff!!! (like at yesterdays comp!)

| ok for one its not a glass skid plate its acrylic and for 2 i have droped mine and hammered it and beat the life right out of it and it holds up really well and as for that pic that was from me installing some spacers on to the block to make the top links parallel (bad idea) and i have sense removed the spacers and have ran it in to a few walls tweaked it forced it and nothing has broken again. so the products are not all bad dont take one bad instance out of something and make the product look useless because all due reality the stuff is pretty stout im just really hard on the stuff because i am doing prototype testing for the company making it so im a bit extra hard on the parts then normal applications would call for to find a weak point in the product to ensure that they are sending quality parts out.. not trying to bash just stating my opinion about it so dont take offense.
