hi guys, long time in hobby, onroad, off road, 1/10, 1/8, 1/5 over and out. Had crawlers in the past and still have a CC01 (trail) and with all information from this forum I went for a RS10 (creeper ) as a present in new year. I have exercised all my learnings from the forum, so maybe nothing new, but at least good remarks for new comers to RS10. So what I've done so far: Change all gears to steel, check all wiring and screws as some were not threadlocked and wreck the original servo immediately, replace with MG and waterproof it with plastidip: [IMG][/IMG] then kill back steering: and remove foams and add weight to front wheels: finaly bend links in S, lower the electronics tray for a bit lower COG and droop shocks: what comes next? actually only ESC, since I was an idiot to burn the original so got myself a twin motor waterproof ESC, waiting for the post to arrive. please tell me what I miss? what to do to have a better creeper |

while waiting on post, take front and rear ends apart and switch out metal drive pin with a hardened one or a needle bearing from a u joint will work with a little modding also snip every other lug off of tires. and rolling front end up is well worth the effort. hopefully new esc is ready for 3s have fun |
