Not much aftermarket support for the redcats....

Keep digging around here, if someone does (or did) there should be info round these parts.

Yep, aluminum knuckles for the SCX10 will work and I'm using the stock plastic axial SCX10 steering knuckles and they are much better than the stockers. You can find the axial plastic knucks for cheap here on rcc because everyone ditches them for aluminum.

Read through some of the older build threads for the RS10 and you'll get a grasp for what works and what doesn't pretty easily. While there might not be much direct aftermarket support for the RS10, there are a lot of parts out there that will fit.

In this case, Axial steering knuckles bolt up just fine. Additionally you can use just about any chassis under the sun (you'll likely have to modify link lengths or make your own links), Axial offset 2.2 wheels work, you have plenty of 2.2 tire options, various shock options, tons of electronics options, etc...

I definitely suggest picking up a set of aluminum knuckles ASAP if you've broken a plastic one. They don't flex and hold up extremely well.

I bought them and they are much better than the stock knuckles! Quality seems to be great but I have to made a new links. Stock links are too long.

it would be better to get some high clearance knuckles.
when we finally get the universal axle mod going, the arm on the stock knuckles will
hit the case screw mount.

the xr10 knuckles have the 8*. you can find ax10 high clearance knuckles. vanquish has some
but they are a bit steep in cost.

I have a new idea for universals. using yeti axles cut to the right length and attaching
them to the spool shaft with universal couplers. we would have universals on both ends of each shaft.
wish me luck

Can you explain how do adjust the steering linkage? Is there a video or anything showing how to?
