| Servo for RCE E10
Hi folks. I would like to put on some LED's onto my E10. I got a set and then when I took out the servo connector from the Rx and then put it back in once I figured out where to plug the LED into, the servo would not work. I checked and reversed it and it worked but now it will only turn when I worked the throttle control. I took it out again and now have throttle but no steering. Can someone please let me know what is happening. I tried another servo and the same thing happened. Do I need to fix something? Any suggestions would be great. Regards Tar |

Make sure you are plugging the servo into ch1 and the esc into ch2. Also make sure the signal wire (usually the lightest color of the 3 wires, white or yellow being the most common) are in line with the diagram shown on the sticker on your receiver. You won't fry anything by plugging it in backwards, it just won't respond.

Hi. TheLetterJ: The servo is still not working , but I get forward and backwards but no steering. I did as you suggested in the right channels but still no steering. When I plug the servo in it does "move" a tiny bit and to me that means power is getting to the servo but then nothing. I did look and the wires from the plugs are where they are supposed to be. I tried another servo that I had and the same thing with it. When I turn on it does "move" a tiny bit and then nothing. I sure would appreciate any help or suggestion to what I could try. Regards Tar |

Try switching your esc plug to ch1 and your servo to ch2. If the servo works then (operated by the throttle) and the esc (operated by the steering wheel) does not, your receiver is bad. If the servo still does not work, but the esc does, your servo is bad.

TheLetterJ: I think that I did this but I will try it again just to make sure. I hope that I can get another Rx if I have a bad one. Interesting that all was working before I took the servo connector out of the Rx and put it back in. I will let you know. Thanks Regards Tar |

Hi folks. TheLetterJ: I figured it out finally. I have a bad Rx. I tried another radio and ESC and all was good. I have ordered another Rx and should have it this week and try it out. I will give you an update when I try it. I just hope that is the problem. Thanks for the help. Regards Tar |
