Rs10 servos upgraded from factory.

So when I bought my rs10 on Jan 29 2016 I also bought some meta! Gear servos and alloy horns to combat the well known problem of dinky plastic factory servos. Upon receiving my crawler I took the stock servos apart and found that they are full metal with metal spindle cups as well. These servos have rubber grommets and seals on every crack. These are the hexfly hx 15s 15 kg servos. They are heavy duty and VERY powerful I held one in my hand and tried to kept the horn from moving but it turned without a problem and I have very strong grip in my hands. I don't know if this factory upgrade is just for rs 10 xt24 models or new models but I don't think I'll need to be replacing these servos anytime soon.

the rs10s and rs10xts originally came with lansu servos before and the spindle was plastic
if yours is a hexfly then it seems redcat has finally listened to all the anguish
from previous owners.

rs10 blue body just went thru a change {i think maybe an issue because it so resembled a hummer} anyhow yes all the new bodied blue ones have the upgraded hex sevos. the red ones dont yet they are actually offering lower price on the red ones on the dealer wholesale page. so buy the blue ones lol and save on buying new servos.

warrenty will send you out two new metal hexflys if you ordered the red one.

Update: I burnt up my rear servo a few days ago. I swapped them both out and I'm saving the hex servos for parts and possibly a transplant of new parts into the hex waterproof cases. At any rate they will be good for parts or backups in a pinch.

my servo was bad out the box last week. Emailed redcat and they are sending me the same hexfly servos you listed at 31.00 a piece. they are all steel and waterproof apparently.
