Weathered Picnic table and grill

NOT A VENDOR FEELER THREAD! Just showing off something that I made.

First, thanks to everyone who helped out here:

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/general-scale-talk/179560-weathered-wood-look-styrene.html

and also the folks on Scale RC 4x4. I was working on a picnic table, and I wanted it to look bad. pardonmynoob and reddevildemo pointed me here for weathering:

Isn't it amazing what people will just leave sitting around in a city park?

Somebody even carved his name into it:

Well, let's get cooking:

The handles on the grill come out for carrying, or slide back inside for storage.

http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...d/DSCN1065.jpg

and the little wire legs flip down when you aren't using the grill.

Made some bungee cords too, but they came out pretty thick.

Care to join me?

Thanks! Still working on the food, ice, charcoal etc. Right now I'm busy making a shovel and axe, probably need some more tools too.

Nice work ther 4 sure. So far all your stuff does not look like a noobs attempt at scale.Looks real nice.Well done.

Sweet table!

I don't have a vendor star, not looking to get one. If anyone is interested I'd be happy to make a walkthrough tutorial, but the amount of time that I spent making this thing would make the cost prohibitive as a sale item.

That is some awesome looking items there! Great job on weathering the picnic table. Maybe I'll give my hand a try at making one after I finish the truck I'm working on.

Table and grill look very nice. Looks like the grill was well used...:)...need a scale wire brush.

That's a sweet looking picnic table and the scale goodies are great.

I found some cool accessories at our local "Doll House store" like a bag of Kingsford Charcoal and a tiny can of Bar-b-q starter fluid

I don't think he was rescue heroes. I don't I have him anymore or else I'd check for branding. He was too short anyway.
