Default real scale 4x4 lights

Hello, like you can see im new in this hobby, im trying to complete my rig and i want to know where i can find real scale spot beams for my roof rack, i bougut a pair of ram lights and they are horrible!!! they just look so fake...

does somebody know where to find REAL scale lights like warn, piia or hella???

its weird... you can eseally find perfect scale roof racks, hi lifts, snorkels, gas cans, fire stinguishers, Bushwaker fender flares...

But if you want some real scale lights (the very basic equipment for a 4x4) the only option is to have this horrible Ram Mikey ears in the top of my rig...

Please put all the options you can give me, and if you put some photos i will be very glad!

PD... i dont care if they work or not... the only thing is that they looks REAAALLL.

thanks
Alan piña

Default lights

I always thought the Tamiya lights looked good. Working I would go with the Hilift light bar and run lil LEDs in to it. Non working I have always used the Blackfoot set, cause they have the KC daylighter smiley face on them. Do you still have the RAM lights? if you are unloading them I may be interested

I used the lights from the front of the HPI mt2 on my Bronco's bumper. They come as a row of 4, so I just clipped them apart and filed the edges down.

Chaman has about the nicest round headlight source I have seen on his Blazer. You should look at his 80 to 79 blazer conversion in the 1.9 forum and ask him where he got them. I think it was mostly autostore stuff. I use the LED christmas wreath lights that you see on the Wally world lights thread myself but I mostly have hard bodies now. His would look good on a lexan body

Mini-maglite lense buckets should fit great behind the clear lexan headlight of the jeep body. Throw some LED's in there and you're off and running!

I can vouch for the brightness of the X-lights. On 7.2volts, they are brighter than most LED kits on 9volts...

Here is a pic of my light set up.I used buckets from book lights that I got at the Dollar Store. They are about 18mm in diameter and have a 5mm hole for the led.I used 3mm leds and just used a rubber grommet to mount the led in the hole.Works great for 2 bucks.

This is what I got for $3 at walmart. At the time, I didn't know you can actually unscrew the 2 piece outer case. The LED housing once removed has a diameter no larger than that of a dime. I'm gonna play with that and see if that gives a more scale appearance on my next project.
