I put tape appropriate for the material on the truck- or trailer-bed and then use a small amount of hot melt glue to secure the item on to the tape. Easy to remove and holds OK. On some items I use neodynium magnets to make them stick to my steel roof rack. OIn some of the small boxes I have made there are fake bottoms that hide the magnets. I mostly use magnets taken out of old computer hard disks. Cheaper that way. Heat shrink tubing works well and looks good then cut in rings and used as tie down straps. If itīs not possible to use the the rings closed the still look good used as strips and glued in place. |
