| Snow... Ground... Anchor... Thing?
Well the snows nearly here in the great land of Ireland and I know last year I got stuck wwwaaayyy to much for my liking So I was wondering instead of a Plow on my scaler does anyone know of a ground anchor for the snow? The reason for this is I have never seen a Plow on the front of a 4x4 so it isn't scale for me... Oh and I don't have the skill needed to make a Plow Problem tho, the snow gets quite "slushy" quite fast so there is nothing to really grip Basically what I'm asking is, has anyone seen a solution to an impossible problem? Also sorry if anyone clicked on this wanting to see some pics of an awesome product haha Thanks, Adam |

Use your spare tire, bury it in the snow and attach your winch to it. It will make a great anchor

Yes, in both snow and sand,Depending on the conditions...wet snow/dry sand or vise versa you may dig a bit deeper to acheive a solid anchor. Works in dirt also but its a pita to dig and ussaully wont compact well unless you dig really deep Quote:

Swamped my rig in a lake once so we dug a 6 foot hole threw the 42" spare into it, coupled with a 12000 pound winch and a lot of dirt. Sombitch came right out the damn ground. We had one stuck buggy lmao. We were camping so we hung out till we really had to leave then called a tow truck to bum**** nowhere for a cool 800 dollar ride home |
