Default Camping @ 2016 Scale Nats

The host campground is Watson lake Park campground. I have reserved 13 spots right up against the rocks for the event. Sites are $15 per night and are dry sites (no electric, no water). There is a bathroom and showers just across the road from the spots near the parking lot. If you would like to reserve a spot please let me know in advance via pm and we can work out the details.

You can also reserve spots 14,15,16,17,18, or 19 through the city of Prescott if you'd prefer one of them, price is the same.

Such a awesome place to camp, one day I will drag the wife and coach down there to share the beauty with her.

Spot 12 is where it's at, a big bbq and a giant cooler of ice cold Pepsi or the beverage of your choice for after the comp.

Spaces are going fast fellas so book them quickly. Each space is allowed two tents and two cars so try to share a spot with a friend where you can.

We still have 2 spots available, 1 and 12. There are also plenty of rooms available at the hotel.

I believe spot 1 is open. If not 14-19 could be reserved through the city of Prescott. You'd have to call and see what is available there.

Also there are a bunch of sites that are a few hundred yards away that are first come first serve but are close enough if you want to be away from the action.

Are there fire rings, and are campfires allowed in the campground?

Depending on what site you have, yes, they are probably 36" in diameter. As long as you are respectful, do not burn anything that should be burned and keep it controlled I think they won't mind. We had fires last year at the shootout with no issues.

It could get down in the 40's at night so it wouldn't hurt to have some firewood on hand.

Yeah, that's why I want to do it, I did a little investigating of the annual averages for the weather, camping is better with a little fire!

Daytime temperatures could be around perfect!
