no frills or special editing in this vid, sorry. not many vids with peeps really getting their trucks wet except for those crazy oregon guys. so here's a few spec on my submersible. axial truck(diffs and trans packed with marine grease) 645MG (dielectric grease and plasti-dipped) Rx(dielectric grease and balloon) traxxas xl5(soon to get replaced with an LRP Runner, because these actually are waterproof) novak 45 turn motor my rig: the action: |

thanks for the comments. i've found the traxxas speed controls haven't worked to well even though they are advertised as waterproof. i'm switching to the LRP runner series. i've had one in my wife's wheely king and i could scuba all day long. i got two xl5's in both the rigs and they have gotten to where they won't even program after about 5 runs. granted i don't drive my truck in water every run either. maybe a few dips fully submerged and that's about it. tried switching electronics around and still nothing. traxxas should advertise them as "water resistant" not waterproof but i guess waterproof sells better than resistant. screw you traxxas.
