Default ClodBuster Jungle Trails/Water Crossing - Appreciate Feedback

Hi Everyone,

This is the first video I've made of my ~12 yr old Clodbuster. I'd really appreciate any constructive criticism (on the video not my driving!)

Thanks
Ted

Hey thanks Zombie,

It's a fantastic location and only 10 minutes walk from my door! Very lucky.
I had some feedback on that video asking for more action and some music. Unfortunately it didn't end well.

I think the next video will be demonstrating the waterproofing of electronics!

Doh! Honestly I like the natural sounds of the environment and the sounds of the electronics in videos.

Yep the first video is accessed via the trail at the end of Killarney Drive in Killarney Heights. The second is further along the same trail, or closer access via Cook St Forestville. Google Map link

It would be good to see some other trucks out there!

Horses for courses! I figured the less scale like driving in the second video could use some rock music to go with it!

nice area for trail bashing
I'll bet it's a good time

mamba

tho' I do need dump my brutal opinion here

Yer crawler looks like an rc toy bouncing along in a 1:1 surround.
But could look to be more realistic in it's setting.

Looks as tho' the suspension articulates well enough...
But when a tire drops down to a lower rock surface
the shock doesn't seem to absorb/compress very much that I see.

my critique is likely biased in that I prefer more scale realism.

what shocks, valving, oil wt. ? ~curious~

^ I was thinking that the valving /or oil weight may be culpable.

you asked for feedback... so I didn't want to disappoint

Great! Definitely after feedback. Unfortunately there's isn't much scale realism about my rig. And I'll guarantee the shocks need new oil. No idea what's inside them. Any tips on oil weight??

I have a box of clod parts that might have a CPE Claw chassis in it along with a set of clod axle parts. So I might try a crawler with that chassis and use the current one for a wheely poppin clod!
