Moon Buggy "Monster Energy"
I made a moon buggy as a rock racer. This is a scale model of "Campbell Buggy".
The main specifications are as follows. Motor: brushless 5700kv ESC: Sidewinder Battery: Li-Po 3 cell Transmission: Kyosho RB5 Axle housing: F350 Tire: Flat Iron Enjoy my making. :-P The differential gear cases are offset. Extensions are made by A2017. Cases are offset to right side. The frames are composed of stainless steel tubes. Side panels of moon buggy are not symmetry. Its left side panel is declined. Tubes are fixed by brazing. The tranny was put on the center. Drive shafts are offset to right side same as real buggy. Lateral Link's pivots of the frame have screw nats. Rear side's structures are same as the real one's frame. Linkages' structures are same as the real one. Especially, the front linkage is strange structure. The steering servo is mounted inside of the frame. Tamiya's doll is just good size and pose. The battery tray was made by the vacuum forming machine. Esc and receiver are put under the battery tray. It's finished to assemble. Shocks are TLT's. At the time of next making, I want to change wheels. Plastic is not cool. There is a cooling fan in the same place as the real one's radiator. Thank you guys.
All of other standard parts are my handmade. But, when next making, I want to use RC4WD's Spyder Axel. I have some movies on YouTube. Enjoy! :-P http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=KV8RUMJWte8 My making movie. http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=b7tcjBpCY7k piscesZpisces took for me. Very nice movie. http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=GDkcJGwfd-c Katana's blue buggy is very cool. Wrong title is my mistake. |
