Default MARCC Comp #1 - Dec 4th, 2010

This is the first comp of our Winter Series so lets make it a good one. My plan for this comp would be that we start out on the island and run 2 courses, and then we go break/charge/eat/whatever and then go over to the beach and run 2 more courses. This will give us two different types of rocks to crawl on which should make for an interesting day. After all of that we will run 1.9s. We will be running by the USRCCA rules. Please post up if you are coming

Where & When: Saturday, December 4th - Bayou Point @ Arkabutla Lake
Directions: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,0.027874&z=16 Park at the B on the map.
pics: Bayou Point @ Arkabutla lake

Sounds good. I'm going to put it on the calendar. Work permitting I'll be there.

That's why I made a schedule, in hopes that people could plan ahead to be in attendance. I hope that you can make it

Awsome.

I finally got the time to mess with some of the steering. Got the JR ds8711 on it and man. There is no way that the generic servo I bought a while back would even compare. Good thing was I got my $ back on the other servo after burning it up. I hope I don't have to work this sat so I can join in. I sure want to.

Howard, I think you are going to love that servo. I have always ran 8711s on all of my comp rigs. JR has a great 3 year warranty too, so you have to make sure that you take advantage of that. I have never killed a jr servo. They just seem to gain alot of play at the output and that causes centering issues. All you have to do is send it to Horizon repair with your receipt and after about $12 is shipping your servo is fixed.

I hope you can make it. I'd like to see you new truck.

Sounds good. I'd rather it be saturday morning already but I guess I'll have to wait.

Today was a great day for crawling. The weather was perfect and the rocks were dry which made for some sick lines. We all had input on course design and that was pretty cool. We ran 4- 2.2 courses with a 60pt out and 7 minutes. The gates were spread out pretty far so we needed the time. RB and I ran 3 1.9 courses later on that were fun and challenging as well. Congrats on your 1.9 win Rotten, you always beat me in that class. I seem to always beat you in 2.2 though (except for that time at superlift)

2.2
1. helhedded -19/-17/-8/-15 = -59
2. rottenbelly -16/52/6/46 = 88
3. mudboger07 50/52/22/52 = 132

1.9
1. rottenbelly -11/-9/-16 = -36
2. helhedded 10/-17/-16 = -23

Thanks for coming out guys
