Gonna try to be there both days if possible; saturday around 1pm and sunday around 9am. Post here if you plan on trying to make it.

Looks like Saturday is out now guys with the rain moving in tonight and through tomorrow. I still plan on being there 9am Sunday morning weather permitting.

Which side of the zoo are yall going on? Last time I went down there I went on the right side(facing the zoo). Just wondering if they was anything on the other side?

thats wherre I parked at this past weekend. jkelly and chops parked at the zoo parking lot the other day and I may do the same this weekend.

Yeah during the off season the parking lot isnt full, and I dont think they mind if you park down at the end.

It's much better than braving the gorge, tracks, and jungle!

I have no idea even how to get to the other side. I have only crawled on the interstate side myself.

I heard from a few ppl that its private land. And I dont know how to get there either, lol.

Im wondering about the water level this time. Lots of water headed this way..

Its not private land on the other side of the river. Its fairly easy to get to. If anybody sees anything over there or just wants to check it out maybe one day i could show you the way. Or at least give some directions.

I'm a nogo for Saturday any ways so the rain doesnt bother me. I'm still hitting my wife up for a sunday stroll though. I'll post up when i find out.

Tried to edit my other post but I dont think it took. Down below the zoo in the congaree its pretty swole especially if we get more rain tomorrow. The Saluda probably wont be to bad though over on the zoo side. Maybe a lil high. But down behind the lake murray damn on the river side there is what looks like a really good spot. Kinda a mix of rocks and ledges. Seems easy to get to. I have seen it from the water a million times but never crawled it. Damn I need to make a crawler holder on my kayak. haha. maybe sometime soon I'll do some exploring.
