Default Scale Run Saturday March 5th

Let's get a scale run together this Saturday! Name some places to go in and around the Greenville area...

Weather.com says cloudy on Saturday in Greenville. The closer you get to Columbia it says Sunny and 73 with 10% chance...

I'm saying someone needs to throw out some ideas. It would be easy for me to say the Zoo, but I don't think we will have much luck parking there anymore. I would say we could go to the Broad River spot, but since we got rain and will get some before now and then I think the water will be up too far.

I should be able to go, there is the spot you guys checked out off of hwy11 and the spot I showed you at bald rock. I am wanting to check out another area at bald rock that I haven't been to. But I'm game for anything, before long my scaler will be down for a while for a rebuild.

Hey Ryan, I know it's not greenville, but what about sliding rock?

You could always hit Falls Park or the Rock Quarry. I know there some stuff up at Oconee State Park, but thats probably to far of a drive

Well go figure the weather man can't make up his mind...we might just have to play this one by ear.

Slowbro...I actually like the idea of the rock quarry...I forgot it had that little stream through the middle of it.

Theres also that waterfall at Falls Park...not the big one, but the one back in the hold that some of us looked at last time we were there.

The small waterfall at falls park is pretty cool, I crawled there with cmyers and his buddies one time. I also like the sliding rock idea.

I like Sliding Rock too, but the weather will most likely kill that idea. Up until a few hours ago the weather was clearer the closer we got to Columbia, but now it's saying the same thing for most of the state. If they continue to push it further into the weekend it might be good enough to make the trip to Sliding Rock though. Just 2 hours ago it said 70% of thunderstorms there, but now it says 30% few showers.

I will be working but why don't y'all go check out Hanging Rock? Just a thought. I would love to run my Honcho but they still have us on 7 days at work. I sure like the extra money though! (as does the wife)

I'd love to check out some of these out of town spots, probably be a couple weeks before I can do a road trip thing though.

I need to take a weekend off to keep the peace back home. Hope to see some rocks the following weekend.

I'll say this once...BE VERY CAREFUL to follow the directions and make sure the screws you use in EACH hole are the correct length and type. If not you'll have a handful of issues real quick.
