Crims TK Build

I bought the TK kit for a first crawler build, I havent had anything to do with rc car stuff for many years so had to get it all again, tools etc.

So far I have managed to collect most of the stuff I need.

The chassis we all know, but with xtra speed cantilever rear suspension.

I installed a Hobbywing Fusion 1800kva, although I had bought a 3300kva axe FOC system originally, I saw that I was never going to have the room if I lowered the body.

The only thing I had to do was shift a link over to the right side and remove the uprights coming off the centre diff housing. Not sure how strong it will be, and will see in the future.

Ill get some pics at some stage of this to show you.

Printed up some new rock sliders so they conform with original side pieces of plastic, as I managed to get the body low enough.

Install Loops Models rubber fenders, they seemed to look so much nicer than some of the others on the market.

I have been printing parts to fit the body to the chassis, and redoing them when I need to make adjustments.

I wanted a shorter tray, and wasn't keen on cutting up the original , so I have been printing new ones out.

When I get all the printed stuff done and fitted correctly I'll post some pics of them close up.

It hasn't been overly straight forward, but I have been enjoying the challenge of getting the body to fit well, and work out how to release it without taking multiple screws out.

Looks awesome!! You have quite the nice collection of parts! I’m half way through my chassis build.
