hsp T2 advice metal gears

i am considering to buy an hsp t2 1/8 scale crawler from ebay hence to very good price to try the superclass crawling thing hence i am already in to 1/10 scale crawling.

the question is and the thing that is bothering me the most is that it has plastic gears and they tend to strip down... finding plastic gears for sale is easy. but i will need alloy metal gears are there any ready upgrades or parts from another crawler like the bully gears fit? someone mentioned it.

That looks more like a clod buster type axle to tough to twll plus that texh is really old. Look into an exceed mad torque the have metal gear sets of their own.
