Nitrorcx has parts for everything you'd break on a Mad Torque. The weak links are the small 3rd gear and the axle shafts if you have to much steering.

I have a madtorque and it works fine. Just get a spare set of steering knuckles unless they upgraded them since i bought one

Thanks for the responces
When I looked at nitrorcx they didn't seem to have much drivetrain parts. Maybe if I call they would have more?
Bronc... I am on the fence with the MT and the RS10. I am leaning toward the MT if I know I can get drivetrain parts. I will pm you for the parts if I go with the MT

My one concern is size. I loved my 1/8 buggys. But this is different. I know nothing of what makes a good crawler. Is bigger better? Or would 1/10th work better?

Nitro rcx has all the axle parts, everything else is pretty universal. Order some aluminum knuckles and your golden.

One is not better than the other they are merely different. With the Mt you could easily add a 4ch radio and the parts needed for rear steer and you will have the beginnings of a super crawler that will be fun and fairly capable. Itll at least get you started.

What sets the Mad Torque apart from the other Exceed Crawlers is it comes with metal gears. The 1/8 size isn't the standard, but it sure is a lot of fun! I've bashed mine pretty hard, and it holds up well! the articulation on the suspension is just crazy, once you get it set up right! I don't think you will be disappointed with it! [/IMG][/IMG]
