Default Super Qs

Anyone make a Super using Bully 2.2 axles before? I have an extra set of bully axles and want to build something different.

It could be done, but the problem would be attaining a width that provides a stable setup. Really...a "super" is nothing more than a 2.2 with a less restrictions, but requiring a larger wheel size to meet competition requirements. If you aren't going to compete with it...then really you can do anything you want because in that case a 2.2 with rear steer would lean more towards a "super" than a 2.2 rig...at least by my way of thinking.

Really though...these days the "super" name is very closely associated with how the USRCCA rules set up the class. So by the time you build a rig and use the right size wheels and the tires to go with them you end up with a longer wheelbase...and then you need the wider track width to keep it stable.

Does that make sense?
