Super Clod...which pinion for 60t lathe Atlas motors?

I have a choice of 60t or 80t at the moment 70's are all out ...I would like to use my stock Clod pinion if possible so which size of motor should I choose?
It will be mainly a crawler with some bashing ability so a bit of fun wheel speed ... thanks!

60 turn is the way to go

I'd go for the 60t too, and get a 9 tooth pinion for crawling and keep the stocker for a bit of light bashing.

Cheers, Paul. :)

thanks ...does the 9 tooth pinion slow it down? :roll:I'm a total newbie on this subject.

Yep, the stock clod pinion is 13 tooth, and a smaller pinion gear slows the final wheelspeed.

Good luck. :)

Im still running the 13t pinion on mine and the wheel speed is ok, Im also running 70t motors also. You can still walk faster then it goes......."thumbsup"
