Default torsion chassis

wow it's been a long time for since i was last on here

After my coreless digital hi-tec 5997 titanium gear servo snapped off the left front knuckle of my clod axle at my last bash before I moved to alabama, I packed her up in a box and there it has sat for almost a year now. Well now school's out for the summer and when I'm not at football practice or at work, I miss my crawler. Well I've put it back together and am starting to have new ideas

I've done just about everything to this chassis to get it to fit my needs but I'm just flst out of ideas. I love the RC guy gecko 2 chassis and will definately re-use it for something, but I've started toying around with the idea of building a torsion chassis. It seems like it would be much simpler and less maintinence. There won't be nearly as much flex. But it will be so much lighter that it won't need it.

I'm looking at just going to the local hardware store and buying some angled aluminum and setting it up for a 16.5" to 17" wheelbase.
-What I need to know is:
--about what thickness should the aluminum be?
--how tall and wide should the aluminum the piece be?
--how many notches to cut and how far apart?

Sorry for all the explanation in one post, but dial up sucks and i try to avoind the internet as much as possible

Thanks in advance.

The pimp cane is really the best you can get. I have one and it works out great.

Go to www.jpcustomrcs.com Or just shoot me a PM here.

Comes with backbone, Brackets, All the hardware, Jp Custom Rc's Banner and two Pimp Cane Logo Decals. If any other website site says they carry a Pimp Cane or say aka Pimp Cane. It's a Lie... And a Rip off of a Pimp Cane.

Also on the Flex. A 17.5 and up can get to much flex if you don't limit it. The longer the wheelbase the more flex.
